Well, yeah, I got all excited earlier this week when I was told that the skull of Isaac Hunt was found, on his family’s property and that the FBI had taken over. Woo Hoo! The FBI finally did their job!
Hold the confetti cannons. No, they really didn’t. This will take a bit to unwind. We may have to rev up the engine on the rusty ol’ Wayback Bus (presently in process of being converted to all electric), and take a short tour. Since the engine is out and the wheels are off, y’all have to grab the bars at your seats and hoist it up, and walk it to where we’re going, Flintstone style.

Now, back to last spring (you in the back, I want to see your feet on the ground. No faking it!) Isaac went missing after losing his mind over the murder by his brother, of his brother’s girlfriend, Jemini Posey. (She has a page in the MMIW tab, help yourselves). He was texting, talking, and was a real risk to his murderous brother, D’Angelo Hunt.
The police wouldn’t do anything about finding her (body). Nope, not the Tribal Cops, the BIA, nor the FBI, much less the DLPD which really didn’t have jurisdiction and wouldn’t be bothered if they did.
In May, Isaac “suddenly disappeared”, but his family wasn’t worried. His dad, Restin Hunt and the rest of them said that he had gotten or was given $500 so he could go travel out of State, and they weren’t worried about him, even though they hadn’t heard from him, at all, for months.
Ok, move along here, we’re moving up to fall and winter… you can put the bus down when you come to the snowy parts and the burn pits. (I thought you knew you had to wear boots and coats for this.)
Since none of the agencies that actually have jurisdiction over the rez; the FBI, BIA and Tribal Police << (not to be confused with the BIA, both of which are confused enough as it is) refused to treat the sudden disappearance of Jemini and now Isaac, who apparently is traveling carefree across the country on $500 for 6 months or so, people who actually cared, organized.
They formed a Search Party headed up by volunteers from the Rez and outlying areas, people who actually care about missing persons, especially mothers that suddenly vanish leaving their infant child behind, with no note or anything. They had an agent from the BIA with them to make it legit, especially if they found anything. They also secured permission from Tribal Council to conduct the search.
I mean, what’s the Tribal Council going to say? No, we don’t really want to look for those missing from our reservation and we really don’t want to find out what happened to them? We just want to keep getting grant monies from the government to “address the problem”? No, they had no valid reason to not allow the search.
The searchers started at Jemini’s and Isaac’s last known location: The property of Restin Hunt. They started finding things: remnants of Jemini’s clothing and her cellphone—in the burn pits on the property.
Suddenly, they were abruptly told that permission from the Tribal Council had been revoked and they were ordered to leave, immediately. The rep from St. Michael’s District, Rena Little-Lohnes and her muscle, the Tribal Chair—Lonna Jackson-Street, sent word to halt the search. Rena is a relative of the Hunt family. I assume she got word from Restin or D’Angelo that they were getting too close?
Boom, search ended.
Everybody, pick up the bus, beedle on over to present week. Sit the bus down and listen.
We heard last week that Isaac’s Skull had been found. Turns out, it was NOT the FBI who found it, but was in fact his family. (What family hasn’t mislaid the skull of one of their missing relatives from time to time, eh?)
For some reason…(I’m guessing “pressure”?) Isaac’s family, a few days after the grandmother of D’Angelo in Devil’s Lake came screeching out from under her rock as D’Angelo was ringing the door to her apartment complex to get in, and he was flipping off one of the searchers who was in their car shouting at him about “where’s Jemini? What did you do with her body?” and Granny zoomed out with her batwings flapping, “She’s 6 feet under somewhere!” (like that wasn’t clearly a signal that she KNOWS Jemini is dead and her body hidden??) and the video of that give-&-take was making the rounds on Social Media, probably had something to do with it, maybe?
I dunno, but here’s thing: The family decided to organize a search, on their own property—AND they invited reporters to come along. Not too orchestrated, now was it? They plodded along, serious faces firmly affixed, poking here, there, everywhere, and then just happened to come across one of their own burn pits… and voìlà! (Probably don’t have the accents in the right place, but you get the idea), they uncovered a skull! And the media was there to ‘document’ that completely accidental finding…
THEN--- THEN—the FBI (more serious faces) took over the case. Yea!
To tell you the truth, I was delighted but only momentarily until I found out how this whole ‘discovery’ was made. Now, cynical me is wondering if since they only found the skull and 90% of him is still missing, they won’t in fact just declare him “missing”? Snort all you want, but the way the system works out there, it would not be a step too far.
And now, “The family asks for privacy…” sure they do. Probably more evidence to destroy?
Or this is their way of making themselves look clean after spending almost a year pretending he just was traveling the country on his $500 windfall.
They knew where to look. They brought the media with them for the climatic reveal. (“Alas poor Isaac, I knew him well…”. – Apologies to Shakespear).
I Get Emails
(Don’t we all?) and this one landed a few days ago, right after I posted the previous blog (where I mixed up Rena and Lonna)… and they sounded like they knew exactly what they were talking about, had inside information that I did hadn’t heard about, such as:
Yes, Restin Hunt was a CI, but that was only a few months ago where the FBI made him a CI because they thought he could get his son, D’Angelo, to confess to murdering Isaac… and that the FBI had taken a huge chunk of the carpeting out of Hunt’s home to test for blood, last June… something even D’Angelo might notice.
Well, no, that’s not how it works. Restin, who was likely an accomplice or an accessory to the murder(s) doesn’t get instantly made into a CI so he can get a confession from his son on a murder they suspect took place in the front room (Hey, what’s that blood pool? And all those fragments of bone, teeth and hair, son?) of a house they both live in. Especially not when Restin is a convicted felon, drug dealer…. He traded years earlier, for a lesser sentence and for the perks of having his criminal enterprise protected by the police, to be a CI—not last June.
“Hey Restin! We found a blood soaked carpet in your house. Wanna be a CI?” Nope.
And seriously, it doesn’t take 6 months for the FBI to identify whose blood is saturating the carpet they pulled up. They have the best labs in the world. Example: They identified the skull (just found) as Isaac, in less than 3 days.
I did patiently and thoroughly respond to that email with how things work out there and why what they had told me about the very efficient FBI was laughable (because I spent decades watching how they work and why they do things in Indian Country, especially where major crimes are concerned).
I’m dyslexic and it was late so I had to read and reread that email several times before I was sure I was seeing what I was seeing. And I assumed this was a ‘new guy’ who wasn’t aware that I had spent over 20 years on the previous blog/website detailing events, so it seemed necessary to bring him up to speed.
Anywho, I hit send before I asked my question, so I sent another email immediately asking “Which agency are you with?” (I’m here to help) No response. Still no response. I guess he has to clear it with his team leader before he writes again. Probably under another fake name. But that’s ok. Like I said: I’m here to help.
Wrap Up
The Dog & Phony show worked: People Magazine picked up the story. Yea! Anything helps. Now, if we can just find a journalist who will dig a little deeper. I know it’s a big ask.
I’m pretty sure the family is cooking up, with the help of their attorneys and perhaps the support of the FBI, a reasonable excuse as to how Isaac died, and maybe, for funsies, throw in a scenario on how Jemini died and they were honoring her wishes to be cremated… oh? They haven’t found her body, skull, yet? Go ask Gramma! She knows! Or at least she has a pretty good idea! “She’s 6 feet under somewhere!” *Head tilt*
Left Overs
You know Joe Bruce’s skull was found years ago, right? Still no investigation on his murder. They know who did it. They’re just lazy. Until some resource extraction corporation tells the government in Indian Country who to blame, they won’t touch it with a pole of any length. The people involved lead to other people involved that they do business with, so, yeah, takes awhile to get a good fall guy for the most vicious crimes out there.
Their conviction against Werner Kunkel for the psycho killing of Gilbert Fassett 30 odd years ago, is crumbling all around them. Again, Lonnie Olson knew Werner was the wrong guy, but he broke every rule – or at least 200 of them—to convict the fall guy.
Joe Bruce will have to wait a little longer. So will his more recently murdered sister.
So will Camey DuBois… and so on, and so on.
It’s the volunteers who show up and demand accountability that get ANYTHING happening out there. God bless them, every one.

Mini Lonnie, “Squirrel!” and a Skull

A few things have happened since our last chat. Lonnie Olson sent his Mini Me to court to respond to the petition for a new trial to simply say ‘He’s guilty and should never be released from prison’, as a response to the petition that clearly lays out that Werner Kunkle was railroaded, exculpatory witnesses were hidden from the defense, and their ‘expert’ bug man was not certified, nor qualified, but a hobbyist whose testimony was a joke and Lonnie Olson knew it all along. Which also means Lonnie KNEW he was clearing the path for the real killers, and he didn’t care. Yes, they killed before and would kill again, but Lonnie wanted to convict a Ham Sammich.
Pretty sure he knew a whole lot more, because witnesses probably came forward and told them the truth, just like witnesses knew who killed Eddie Peltier, but that would interfere with Lonnie’s big plans, so he framed and railroaded Werner Kunkel.
Of course he’s a big time Federal Judge now (OoooOOoooo!) and sent his Mini Me in not to respond to the facts stated in the petition (over 200 points made by the defense attorneys), but to blithely state that the facts don’t matter, he’s guilty. I hear the Mini Me actually looked like a little Lonnie.
So, the Trial Date is set. Will Mini Me show up? Will he risk his professional reputation on this landslide, or should I say “mudslide” of facts that show utter disregard for the law, the rights of defendants, and the facts that pointed clearly away from his desired target, in the previous trial? Will he gleefully and blithely state with confidence that no facts matter because they got a conviction on lies? Who(m) of the Larry, Mo, Curly Joe and now Mini-Me, will take the hit on this one? Is Tiffany Sorgan still the expendable one? We’ll see.
Now For the Squirrel …
Remember the Blackhawk Helicopter raid on an apartment building in Chicago? Middle of the night. Really dramatic. Our heroes repelled down long lines to break into the building (would’ve been cheaper to take the stairs), kick in every door, yank people out of their beds, some of them naked, zip tie them and sit them out in the street, for hours, while they trashed every apartment, breaking things like TVs, appliances, … oh, and little kids were crying because they were, ready for it? Zip tied to each other, barely clothed, and forced to sit on the sidewalk for hours while this whole adventure was taking place.
The cover story was that there were cartel and gangs living in that building and this was f47’s way of bringing down crime… in a city that has one of the lowest crime rates in the USA. This terrorism went on for hours and the people returned to broken doors, sacked apartments and stolen valuables.
They weren’t gang members or cartel members. In fact they weren’t criminals at all. They were gardeners, nannies, cooks, car wash attendants and they had their immigration paperwork in order (that never seems to matter to the Thug Squads, but it’s a fact).
Well, out of all of that excitement they played out for the macho man PR streams, resulted in NO arrests. No Trials. No convictions. Oh yeah, most of the people were also US Citizens.
They just wanted to prove they could do anything to anyone, anywhere if they wanted to. They proved that.
That was the Squirrel. And that all that to turn eyes away from what was really taking place earlier, May, that was just starting to raise a stink as media was getting wind of yet another outrage. Remember the “buy US Citizenship for $X___Million dollars” You get a gold pass or platinum pass that grants you instant and full citizenship in the USA, courtesy of Trump? Remember that? Yes? No?
Well, the first dozen people to take advantage of that were the family, including the son of the man who ran the Sinaloa Cartel in Mexico. Yup, they are now 100% citizens! They give him money (you don’t think that money is going anywhere but his pocket, do you?) and they can have all the protections of full citizenship in the good ol’ US of A.
Boy, bet you’d be mad if you were being informed about that, wouldn’t you. It made the news but was quickly flushed in favor of his sending troops into cities in Blue States, especially cities who had Black Mayors, and low crime. Cities with much higher crime rates, but they are in Red States and he needs them, well he needs their governors and AG’s and Supreme Courts on his side, especially now that he’s made living unaffordable, government non-functional and is cutting off food benefits to their children, their poor, their elderly and to the military servicemen and women.
So, those crime ridden jurisdictions get no thug armies marching through their streets, abducting people, beating, torturing people, and no (theme music) Blackhawk Helicopter raids on apartment buildings full of working people, and no zip tying of naked people and small children while their apartments are trashed by the jackbooted thugs doing his bidding.
THE SINALOA CARTEL FFS!
He commits horrors on a grand scale and every republican in Congress looks the other way because they owe their allegiance to their party, not to the country and not to the people who elected them and are now paying the price for voting for Hate.
Now that the Epstein emails and files are being pursued by congress (because they were forced to because, the shutdown they were using to strangle the ACA out of existence, and to end the SNAP benefits that feed the poor, disabled and our military) ended when the Senate moved to end it. I guess Democrats aren’t willing to cut the baby in half, but Republicans have no problem starving it and taking away health care. Hospitals are closing left and right, so that’s a win for Republicans.
So, now the Epstein Files are being dumped in the media and tons of information and names are coming out.
Not to worry fans, f47’s brilliant Attorney General, whose job it is to protect him at all costs, from his own criminal acts, presently ongoing or past, announced to the nation last month that she was taking One Thousand FBI Agents and tasking them with going through the files and records and evidence and removing any mention of Donald Trump from all of it. They would be working 24/7… that’s right, around the clock, for weeks, to erase his name.
What does that tell you?
It should tell you that he’s so involved in those crimes that it takes 1,000 FBI agents working 24/7, weeks and weeks to cover his shit. Also, that 1000 FBI agents were not doing the work of solving crimes, but in covering up his crimes. That’s a lot of criming!
Speaking of the FBI…
I hear that Isaac Hunt, son of Restin Hunt, brother to Rolling on the Supermarket Floor and being Arrested D’Angelo Hunt, has been found… sort of. Just a skull. The rest of him is still missing. This was found in one of the burn pits on Hunt’s property.
Blood is Thicker
Remember when Chairwoman *Lonna Jackson-Street stopped the searchers who were finding evidence in those same burn pits awhile back? I hear she’s related to Restin and D’Angelo Hunt.

Apparently, at the time, she had the power and authority to stop the BIA and the Searchers, and refused permission or refused to ask the FBI or refused to invite the FBI to search for the two missing persons connected to D’Angelo and Restin Hunt: Jemini, the mother of D’Angelo’s baby, and Isaac, his brother. They concocted some bs story about them leaving on their own at different times and no they weren’t worried about them…
Just last week D’Angelo’s grandmother came shrieking out of her apartment in Devil’s Lake where her grandson, D’Angelo was ringing to get in, and one of the searchers was yelling from her car: “Where’s Jemini! What did you do with her body!”… and the gramma (who is not very bright) come raging out in his defense: “She’s 6ft under somewhere!”
Ok, even his grandmother knew he had murdered her. Good to know. Accessory after the fact? We’ll see.
I couldn’t figure out why the FBI hadn’t investigated these two missing persons. Figured it was because Restin Hunt was, according to several people who wrote to me, protected by law enforcement because he, aside from being one of the biggest meth dealers in the region, was immune from law enforcement because he was a CI. A Confidential Informant.
That designation worked for James Yankton and his entire family for decades. He had Spencer Helleckson cleaning up all his messes and I guess when the FBI covers your crap for so long, it becomes a reflex, right?
Government needs hard crime to exist on the reservations because if not for that, the people would be able to make real progress and prosperity and that would cause problems for the resource extraction corporations who need dysfunctional government and oppression to be able to raid our nation’s resources, located on Federal Lands (Indian Country) for pennies and leave the messes behind for taxpayers to clean up or not—just leave it to cause generational harm to the people no one really cares about, right?
So, imagine my total shock when yesterday I heard that the skull of one of Hunt’s victim’s had been found! Who found it?
The FBI!! Yes, the same FBI that had deferred to the chairwoman’s authority when it never existed (Federal lands are all subject to FBI authority, and all felony investigations fall to the authority of the FBI in Indian Country) So for them to pretend they couldn’t do anything and shrug it off, was confirmation of my cynicism from decades of watching deliberately fail to follow through on the Rez.
For some reason, they stepped up. Maybe people were phoning and demanding they do their job (if they weren’t too busy doing 24/7 redactions and destruction of any evidence of f47’s name in the Epstein Files)… I guess this group of FBI is different from every one in that region that had preceded them. Hallelujah.
Wrap Up
Werner will have his trial. Witnesses will be called. Evidence of Lonnie Olson’s misconduct will be made public.
The mobster in the White House (what’s left of it), is desperate and dangerous and I expect even more horrific crimes to be committed upon the citizens of the USA. The Squirrels he releases are the ugliest, most violent, but it won’t stop that train that’s rolling down that track.
Know that the squirrels are there to distract from bigger crimes. Like inviting the Sinaloa Cartel members to buy US Citizenship. He’s not about stopping any crimes. He’s all about running them for personal profit for him and his family. He has people running the FBI (Kash Patel) and drunks running Department of Defense, who have no security clearances and who were given a free pass to access all our nation’s secrets—without taking a lie detector test and without qualifying for top security. Does that sound like a man protecting the nation? Not to me.
The FBI has found the skull of one of the victims of Restin and D’Angelo Hunt and TV News has asked the Hunts what they know about that and they completely not interested, totally shocked… but if it were your son or brother who was missing and then his skull was found in your burn pit, wouldn’t you react like it was tragic? Or at least important? (Somebody drag that screeching granny out and ask what she knows. Obviously, she knew more than the FBI, right?)
There’s more evidence to be found. They just have to look for it. They just have to do what they have the authority to do. And Rena Little Lohnes has some ‘splaining to do.
One thing I want you to remember: The Good People of Spirit Lake Nation deserve better. They live under this chronic oppression and disinterest by the very agencies that are capable of finding the missing, investigating crimes, stopping the human trafficking, stopping the child trafficking and stopping the drug running.
They just don’t want to. Maybe they prefer covering up the footprints, fingerprints of criminals in the White House. Or maybe what they have seen or heard others have seen, has disgusted them enough that they are doing what they should’ve been doing all along, and it will feel good to them when they do the right thing and work for the Good of the People.
There’s a lot to undo out in Indian Country. The Good People all across Indian Country, have been suffering and struggling under a system bent on destroying them. I hope this is a signal of a turnaround for at least one agency. But I remain skeptical.
But I am watching.

Thank You For Your Service –– Now Go Hungry
It has to be said: There is no hypocrisy greater than what is desecrating the White House right now, and the Entire Republican Party.
The man wants to be a king and a King needs a Palace… so he’s knocking down the entire East Wing in order to build a “Ballroom”. He’s doing it without permits, destroying National Heritage, all so he can have a ballroom bigger than the entire White House.
It’s only going to cost $200 Million, no-- $300 million… no, wait, $400 Million… and he’s claiming it’s coming from ‘donors’ – and some of it is coming from the big names who need desperately to stay on his good side so he doesn’t destroy their empires. The rest is coming from other donors––– taxpayers.
He’s also given Argentina over $40 Billion dollars because he needed for the dictator there to be re-elected. Argentina beef will now compete with our US ranchers’ beef production and btw, China isn’t buying a single soybean from our farmers, they are buying it from Argentina because he’s made such a supreme mess out of trade with his illegal tariffs that are arbitrary, changing from day-to-day based on his moods or if he’s mad… making enemies out of our trading partners and raising prices on everything we buy.
All this and more while congress remains shut down because with congress shut down he doesn’t have to swear in the newly elected Rep from AZ who would be the 218th vote to open the Epstein Files which would expose him and so many of his rich and powerful friends, and while Congress is shut down, he can act like a King without worry about anyone questioning his actions.
The reason Congress is shut down is because he and ALL the republicans in the House and Senate want to take Affordable Health Care away from everyone. Only the wealthiest will be able to afford health care. The rest of us are one broken bone away from bankruptcy, one missed dose of insulin which will cost thousands, away from death… etc.
The ACA (Affordable Health Care Act) passed during Obama’s first term and derided as “Obama Care” (Boo and Hiss if you hate affordable Health Care… which you did), saved lives, brought medical bankruptcies to a screeching halt, and gave us a healthier population, healthier kids and cost the government $10 Billion a year. But he will tell you we can’t afford that now. Let’s see, $40 Billion to Argentina just for funzies, but we can’t afford $10B for life saving affordable health care? *Taps screen* Hello? Anyone home?
Also, the Republican Congress wants to end the SNAP Program, where we feed the poor who are mostly the working poor, for those who are unaware. Underpaid because wages have been kept below a living wage for decades (Trickle Down Clown gave us that logic) and guess who receives anywhere from 12%-20% of those benefits? Our Active Duty Soldiers.
Yes, and you were about to say something about “Get off your asses and get a (low-paying) job, weren’t you? Sure you were. Because you’ve been brainwashed by conservative media to think that people are poor because they are lazy.
So, now, the republicans and the president are laughing at people starving as they throw themselves lavish parties, and pay themselves lavish salaries as they are now on their 6th or 7th week of paid vacation while you go hungry and your health insurance premiums just rose anywhere from 4 to 15x what they cost before. One gentleman showed me his family’s policy which rose from $226/month which he could afford to over $2,600/month which he can’t afford.
I hear conservative media yelling at us that this is the Dems shut down. Republicans control all three houses, not the Dems so if you are shouting at the Dems, you’re an asshole.
Republicans have a bill to keep the government open but it will permanently take away SNAP benefits and the ACA. But you can point to that Big Beautiful Ballroom that’s being built and say “Aren’t we lucky?”
That ballroom is going to have so much Marble and Gold and crystal chandeliers that it will be the envy of every other country in the world! Can hardly wait.
Meanwhile, children are going hungry (Happy Thanksgiving y’all!) and our Active Duty Servicemen and our Veterans and the elderly, can’t afford food for their family’s. We can feel so proud though, you know, the ballroom, Argentina…
The soldiers on the bases in foreign countries such as Germany and Japan and probably everywhere else, are being told that if they are hungry they have permission from command to go off base to the food banks in those countries to beg for food. So proud. So.Very.Proud.
Don’t tell me this isn’t what you voted for. This is exactly what you voted for. You were warned. You spat in the faces of those warning you. You gonna vote for republicans again? Probably. There’s a level of stubborn stupidity out there that cannot be educated regardless of the pain inflicted on themselves, their families or their friends. They have wallowed in the deliciousness of misdirecting their anger at the poor, the immigrants, the other religions, other races, and ain’t no amount of self-inflicted suffering going to make them grow up, see the light and do what’s right. That would be like admitting they were wrong or something!
The rest of us have to get out there, try to get our neighbors food, keep the heat on during the winter, and we march and we vote and we speak out. Are there enough of US to save the rest of US? I don’t know.
I do know that they leave their red hats home when they go to the food banks. I know the lines wrap around the block, fill up stadium parking lots, and they know they brought this down on all of us.
I also know that a lot of people are going to lose everything before this is over, and too many are going to die because of it.
They’ve cut funding and staffing for FEMA, USAID, Heating allowance, SNAP and now they want to take it all away.
I also know that for $1Million you can get US Citizenship, no questions asked. Just pay Trump $1 Million dollars. The first 12 people who bought in and are “legally” US Citizens, are a family that ran a Cartel and still do. But they paid, so they are in. There’s been dozens since. You can bet these people are not coming here to work in our fields, on our ranches, in our packing plants (they’re allowed to hire children as young as 9 yrs old to work in meat processing/packing plants now. Yea! Child Labor! Only a few have died, and a few dozen have been maimed. Not bad, eh?).
No, the people who are buying their way in are the people who will be in that Big Beautiful Ballroom when it’s opened.
Start looking at your candidates for office. What is their character? Are they ethical? What are their policies? Who are their donors? If you vote for a Republican, you vote for the Ballrooms and the loss of America as we knew it.
You own all of this. You saw the lies, hypocrisy and the loss of respect for the USA the first time around, when other nations laughed at us and despised us. But you wanted to “own the libs” who were trying to make things better. Well, you won! Congratulations! Put on your MAGA hats and trot on down to that food bank so you and your kids don’t starve. Be proud! Or not.
If you vote for a Democrat, hold them accountable: Write to them, phone them, show up at the townhalls. Get off your lazy asses and get involved.
I’m working on a couple more blog posts that will get posted this month, but I had to get this said.
Happy Veterans’ Day. We live in a country that appreciates no sacrifice, no honor, and no courage. We can change that. I hope we do.
Meanwhile, look around, help where you can, how you can. We need the best in one another now, more than ever.
